1. Who we are

T Assistant is an independent application built on Telegram's official TDLib library. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Telegram Messenger.

2. What information the app processes

2a. Stored primarily on your device

• Your Telegram session credentials (stored in TDLib's encrypted local database, never transmitted to us)
• App settings and preferences (stored on your device)
• Summary reports and fraud alerts (stored locally; queued results may also be held temporarily by our backend for delivery)

2b. Sent to T Assistant's backend for AI processing

AI features are off until you select Accept & enable AI features. You can revoke consent in Settings. After consent, on-demand and scheduled digests, fraud checks, and related AI features send selected data to our backend and the third-party AI provider DeepSeek:

• Message text, sender and chat names, dates, and any included images from selected chats
• Your instructions, language preference, and relevant saved summaries, memories or facts

Scheduled checks may run in the background after you enable AI. The app does not continuously stream messages.

Our backend passes the selected data to DeepSeek for inference and returns the result. Queued inputs and generated results may be held temporarily to complete and deliver background jobs. Provider handling is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

2c. Other data and limits

• Telegram login codes, passwords, and session credentials are not sent to our AI provider
• We process app interaction and diagnostic events to operate and improve the service
• RevenueCat processes purchase and entitlement information for subscriptions
• We do not use advertising SDKs or track you across apps for ads

3. Monitoring accounts of family members

T Assistant allows you to add Telegram accounts of family members (e.g. children or elderly parents) to receive fraud and harm alerts on their behalf. This feature requires the account holder's active participation in the login process and their knowledge and consent.

You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent from any family member whose account you add to the app.

Data sent for AI processing is subject to the provider's data handling terms. We do not sell message content or use it for advertising.

5. Data retention

• On your device: data persists until you uninstall the app or manually clear it
• On our backend: inputs and results may be retained temporarily for processing and delivery of background jobs; operational records may be retained longer
• Authentication tokens: a short-lived token is used to authorise API calls; it is not linked to your Telegram identity on our end

6. Your rights

You can at any time:

• Remove any Telegram account from the app (Settings → Accounts → Remove)
• Disable AI data sharing at any time in Settings, which stops future AI uploads and background schedules from this device
• Clear all stored reports and alerts from within the app
• Uninstall the app to erase all local data

7. Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. The family-protection feature (monitoring a child's account) is intended for use by parents and guardians with appropriate oversight and consent.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the policy changes and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
